sewing mends the soul

Tomorrow school starts, so i've stayed home all day and have been mending my clothes. I have a couple pairs of pants that I love but hate how they fit. On the picture with my white pants you can see how they're loose by the ankles. If I buy skinnies, I like them to be skinnies ! So I sewed in all my pants so that they were tight all the way to my ankles. Just how I like it.. There's a jacket there as well, its a black velvet jacket from the 80's with shoulderpads that remind me so much of the balmain jackets, I had to buy it. The only problem is that the sleeves are too big.. but I fixed that as well. Sadly my mom forgot our adaptor at her studio, so I had to sew everything by hand, but on the weekend I'll be sure to go over it with the machine!

STOCKHOLM SYNDROME

Today I went to Stockholm with my mom, we went to renew my passport (canadian) but we ended up filling out the wrong papers so most of the day was spent on shopping! Easily one of the best things in life, except I never planned on buying stuff... I was going to spend my christmas money on a new lens for my camera and a new flash... but I found some things I couldn't resist.

I bought a balmain inspired studded throw on, a knitted top, and black high lace pants (very thirtie's)... all from the H&M divided exclusive line... gotta love it ! There were a ton of things, but I left half my money att home so I had to do with these 3 pieces.. and then a pair of light blue cheap mondays of course.. hehe..

p.s. on the top there's a picture of some clear scrunchy leggings from H&M's exclusive line... those are deffinetly a next purchase..

TO A NEW BEGINNING

SO the blog is coming back up, was much to lazy before.. but now i've been given an offer I can't deny.. and a blog is needed of course.. so ignore my old posts ok ? ok. Today I stayed home and finished a book I had to read for school.. ''To Kill A Mockingbird'' it was actually good, first confusing.. but ended well. Since then i've been admiring Alexander Mcqueens and Alexander Wangs s/s-10 RTW lines... two of my favourite designers, two guys everyone should keep an eye out for..

PROCRASTIINATIIION STATION

I'm supposed to be writing an essay, finishing math homework, doing my lab report, writing my rough copy for my french project and studying for nationals on tuesday. Well.. so far, i'm not done anything, nor have I started anything. I'm just waiting for the wave of stress to start a flowing..

I AM THE WALRUS, COO COO CA CHOO

Yesterday was amazing ! I went to Stockholm to see Oasis in concert, and it was more then I expected.. everyone sang together, and it was so harmonious.. of course until the crowds became a little rough and knocked my friend down..haha.. not only was it great to see them in concert, it was great to shop in Stockholm again! Mind you that Stockholm always has major sales, and we luckily came by just when the 75% off sales started.. hehe, I found a pair of cheap mondays for 100kr (15$) and my new favourite, a sweatshirt for 80kr (8$) ..not such a bad deal, right?

No school tomorrow.. thinking of going over to a friends, except I have tons of school work, not to mention an essay I have to write for this 'competition' .. ääh ..

He Never Seems To Fail

After school I went down to the library to study and pick up some research for an essay competition, due on monday.. well.. minus the study part, instead I didnt find any books, and went up to the cafe a floor above the library, ate, talked, and watched a movie (on my friends laptop) with a friend.
