sewing mends the soul

Tomorrow school starts, so i've stayed home all day and have been mending my clothes. I have a couple pairs of pants that I love but hate how they fit. On the picture with my white pants you can see how they're loose by the ankles. If I buy skinnies, I like them to be skinnies ! So I sewed in all my pants so that they were tight all the way to my ankles. Just how I like it.. There's a jacket there as well, its a black velvet jacket from the 80's with shoulderpads that remind me so much of the balmain jackets, I had to buy it. The only problem is that the sleeves are too big.. but I fixed that as well. Sadly my mom forgot our adaptor at her studio, so I had to sew everything by hand, but on the weekend I'll be sure to go over it with the machine!

STOCKHOLM SYNDROME

Today I went to Stockholm with my mom, we went to renew my passport (canadian) but we ended up filling out the wrong papers so most of the day was spent on shopping! Easily one of the best things in life, except I never planned on buying stuff... I was going to spend my christmas money on a new lens for my camera and a new flash... but I found some things I couldn't resist.

I bought a balmain inspired studded throw on, a knitted top, and black high lace pants (very thirtie's)... all from the H&M divided exclusive line... gotta love it ! There were a ton of things, but I left half my money att home so I had to do with these 3 pieces.. and then a pair of light blue cheap mondays of course.. hehe..

p.s. on the top there's a picture of some clear scrunchy leggings from H&M's exclusive line... those are deffinetly a next purchase..
